Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled
Guidewire Developer
with 7–10 years of experience, specializing in
Rating and PolicyCenter Configuration
, to join our Acceleration Center team. The ideal candidate will have deep technical expertise in the Guidewire suite and hands-on experience configuring and customizing PolicyCenter to meet business needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and implement solutions within
    Guidewire PolicyCenter
    , with a strong focus on
    Rating engine and Product Model configurations
    .
  • Configure business rules, data models, workflows, and user interfaces to meet customer requirements.
  • Collaborate with business analysts, architects, QA teams, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Customize Guidewire PolicyCenter using Gosu programming language.
  • Participate in the full software development lifecycle including analysis, design, development, testing, and deployment.
  • Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentoring to junior developers.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across environments.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • 7–10 years of IT experience with at least
    5 years of hands-on development in Guidewire PolicyCenter
    .
  • Strong expertise in
    Guidewire Rating engine configuration
    .
  • Proficient in
    Gosu programming language
    .
  • Experience with Guidewire PolicyCenter product modeling and configuration.
  • Strong knowledge of
    Integration (web services, messaging, plugins)
    .
  • Good understanding of
    insurance domain
    , specifically P&C (Property and Casualty).
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Guidewire Certification(s) in PolicyCenter or related modules.
  • Experience with Guidewire Digital Portal or Cloud platform.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools, version control (Git), and build tools (Maven, Jenkins).

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
