The QC Micro – Environmental Monitoring Officer will be responsible for performing environmental monitoring and microbiological testing to ensure that all production and laboratory areas comply with GMP and regulatory standards. This role ensures the safety and quality of pharmaceutical products by monitoring microbial contamination levels and maintaining environmental conditions that support product integrity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Environmental Monitoring: Conduct regular environmental monitoring of critical areas, including clean rooms, production areas, and laboratories, to ensure compliance with microbial limits.
  • Microbial Testing: Perform microbiological testing on air, surface, water, and personnel samples using appropriate methods and equipment.
  • Equipment Calibration & Maintenance: Ensure that microbiological equipment such as particle counters, air samplers, incubators, and microscopes are calibrated and maintained according to established procedures.
  • Data Analysis & Reporting: Analyze monitoring data, identify trends, and prepare reports to assess environmental control and microbial contamination risks.
  • Ensure Compliance: Adhere to GMP, GLP, and regulatory guidelines to ensure environmental monitoring procedures are followed correctly and effectively.
