Position Summary:

Company is seeking to hire a Quality Engineer. This role involves preparing test scripts and test data, executing test scripts, documenting test issues, and participating in root cause analysis. The Quality Engineer will ensure the quality and reliability of software products through meticulous testing and collaboration with cross-functional teams. The objective is to leverage technical proficiency to enhance software quality and support strategic business goals.

Key Responsibilities

Automation Testing

• Design, develop, and maintain robust automation frameworks for web, API, and backend testing.
• Build reusable test scripts using tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, UFT, TestNG, JUnit, Cucumber, or similar.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, etc.).
• Ensure test automation supports regression, smoke, sanity, and end-to-end test scenarios.
• Perform root cause analysis of failed test cases and work with development teams to resolve issues.

ETL Testing

• Validate ETL workflows and ensure data accuracy, integrity, and transformation logic across data pipelines.
• Write complex SQL queries for data validation, reconciliation, and transformation verification.
• Perform data comparison between source and target systems (Data Warehouse, Data Lake, DBs).
• Conduct performance and volume testing for large datasets.
• Ensure compliance with data quality rules and business requirements.

• Business Acumen: Ability to understand the business objectives, processes and systems. Ability to analyze complex workflows and implications for data
• Testing and Quality Execution: Knowledge of best practices and experience in test execution and defect analysis and resolution. Experience using QA tools to facilitate test execution.
• Collaboration: Work effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure quality
• Compliance & Security: Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and maintain data security protocols. Implement best practices for data handling, storage, and sharing to protect sensitive information.
• Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to identify and define problems, as well as develop and implement effective solutions. They should be able to think critically and creatively to solve complex problems.
• Agile delivery: Experience working in an Agile environment delivery, including user story grooming and sprint planning, development, and user acceptance.
• Time Management: Ability to work on multiple projects or tasks simultaneously. They should have strong time management skills to prioritize and meet deadlines.
• Adaptability: Ability to be adaptable and flexible to work in a fast-paced and changing environment. They should be able to quickly learn new tools, technologies, or methodologies as needed.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• Minimum Required Degree: Bachelor's degree
• Preferred Degree: Any technical graduation

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITY:
