Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Bengaluru for a QA Automation Test Engineer. The QA Automation Test Engineer will be responsible for developing and executing automated test scripts, performing manual testing, creating and managing test cases, and ensuring the quality of software products. The role also involves collaborating with software development teams to ensure comprehensive test coverage and continuous improvement of testing processes.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • 6+ Years of Proven experience as a Test Engineer, Automation Engineer, or similar role in the software development industry.
  • Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, testing types (e.g., functional, regression, performance), and best practices.
  • Hands-on experience with Quality Assurance tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Appium, JUnit, TestNG).
  • Proficiency in one or more programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, C#) to develop and maintain automated test scripts.
  • Familiarity with Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) concepts and tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).
  • Experience with bug tracking and test management tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively in an Agile development environment.
