Sales Engineer – Instrumentation

We are seeking a dynamic Sales Engineer – Instrumentation to promote and sell industrial instrumentation products and solutions (Flow meters, Radar Level Transmitters, Pressure/Temperature instruments, Analyzers, etc.). The candidate should have strong technical knowledge and a passion for building customer relationships and closing deals.

Responsibilities

  • Generate new leads and business opportunities in target industries (Water & Wastewater, STP/ETP, HVAC, Process Plants, EPC, OEM, Manufacturing Units, etc.).
  • Understand customer requirements, prepare techno-commercial offers, quotations, and product selections.
  • Visit customer sites for surveys, technical discussions, and product demonstrations.
  • Build strong relationships with clients, consultants, contractors, and decision-makers.
  • Coordinate internally with suppliers, OEMs, logistics, and service teams to ensure successful order execution.
  • Prepare sales reports, maintain CRM/lead tracking, and follow-up on payments.
  • Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong technical understanding of instrumentation and control systems.
  • Knowledge of P&ID, data sheets, flow/level/pressure measurement principles.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Good customer engagement and problem-solving ability.
  • Willing to travel extensively.

Qualification

  • B.E / B.Tech in Instrumentation, Electronics, Electrical, Mechanical, or Mechatronics.
