Job Description:

The ePlane Company is seeking a full-time Instrumentation Engineer (Testing and Support) to join our team based in Chennai. As an Instrumentation Engineer (T&S), you will work with a range of equipment such as sensors, gauges, meters, data acquisition systems etc. to ensure accurate measurement and control of desired processes especially in the aviation domain. You shall be responsible for selecting appropriate instruments as per the need, ensuring calibration, their installation on various parts of the aircraft as per the requirement and milking out the data for storage and analysis. You shall also suggest and implement online monitoring wherever possible. You shall provide technical guidance and support to other departments especially the structures, avionics, propulsion and flight mechanics) in finalizing their instrumentation needs. You should have the passion for accuracy and repeatability in your approach with safety embedded in it. Overall, your role is crucial in ensuring that the instrumentation goals are met as per the design and industrial standards. Experienced personnel can be considered for higher working positions.


Tech Skills Required:
  • Basic understanding of aircraft systems and their working principles.
  • Expertise in signal conditioning, data integrity, EMI/EMCand telemetry.
  • System integration and automation
  • Working experience in MATLAB/SIMULINK, LabView and python-based toolsets.
  • Experience working with digital as well as analog systems
  • Knowledge of codes, standards, and regulations related to instrumentation and control systems, such as ISA, IEC, and NEC
  • Fundamental understanding of linear and nonlinear systems
  • Strong oral and written communication skills to work with both technical, non-technical personnel and the vendors
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualification & Experience:

 Bachelor's Degree in Instrumentation/ Electrical Engineering or related field and 2+ years of experience in relevant domain

Or

  • Master's Degree in Instrumentation/ Electrical Engineering or related field and 1+ years of experience in relevant domain
