1.Responsible for owning the sales objectives for UJ Machines through lead generation activities with a team of third-party promoters.

Expectations from the Role / Job

Sales Target (AOP) Achievement

  • Achievement of sales targets adhering the sale strategy of the business
  • Achievement of UJ Productive Dealer base as per the targets adhering to the sale strategy of the business.
  • Provide tertiary sales support at dealer counters through lead generation & demonstration activities for UJ machines & optional foot.
  • Identify & develop new markets through regular demand generation activities in different markets, housing societies, townships, Sewing Schools, Fashion Institutes, ITIs, Polytechnics, NGOs, participating in exhibitions, fairs, etc. through a team of third party promoters and channel partners
  • Identify opportunities for enhancing the value market share for the product category.
  • Estimate sales potential on town-wise/dealer-wise basis and prepare sales plan on an annual basis.
  • Create & maintain customer database and engage customers through regular customer meets and prospects meet and organize demonstration activities for potential customers.
  • Regularly provide on-the-job training to team members and channel partners on the product features of UJ machines.
  • Managing UJ sales promoters.

People Management

  • Review the performance and productivity of the third-party promoters regularly, provide them with regular feedback.
  • Maintain lower employee turnover rate within the team

Operational Efficiency Improvement

  • Maintain collection period as per the norms of the BU and organization.
  • Seamless coordination with the local support team HR, Sales Administration, IT, Supply Chain, Service for smooth running of operations and meeting the market commitments.
  • Address the pain-points of team & business partners and provide timely resolution. In case of any bottlenecks, escalate the issues involved to reporting manager.
  • Providing regular feedback to HO on any new market development / competitor activities / improvement in the existing product range / service delivery / POSM for enhanced customer satisfaction
