Job Title: Electrical Service Technician – Kitchen Equipment

Department: Service & Maintenance

Location: Sanand GIDC / Vatva GIDC

Job Summary:

The Electrical Service Technician will be responsible for installation, troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance of commercial kitchen equipment such as dishwashers, ovens, fryers, bratt pans, steamers, and other electrical cooking and refrigeration appliances. The role requires hands-on technical expertise, strong problem-solving skills, and a customer-oriented approach.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, test, and commission new kitchen equipment at customer sites.
  • Diagnose electrical and control-related faults in kitchen appliances and perform necessary repairs.
  • Carry out routine preventive maintenance and safety checks.
  • Replace or repair faulty electrical components such as motors, heaters, thermostats, relays, and sensors.
  • Read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical manuals.
  • Ensure timely response and resolution for service calls.
  • Maintain service reports, job cards, and parts usage records accurately.
  • Coordinate with the service office for spare parts requirements and service updates.
  • Provide basic operational and maintenance training to customers after installation or service.
  • Follow company safety policies and maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • ITI / Diploma in Electrical or Electronics Engineering.
  • Minimum 2–5 years of experience in servicing commercial kitchen or similar electrical equipment.
  • Strong knowledge of single-phase and three-phase systems.
  • Ability to read wiring diagrams and handle electrical measurement tools (multimeter, clamp meter, etc.).
  • Understanding of basic mechanical components (pumps, valves, etc.) is a plus.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication and customer service skills.
  • Willingness to travel to customer sites as required.
