Role Summary:

A GST job description involves ensuring a company's adherence to Goods and Services Tax (GST) regulations, which include preparing and filing

accurate GST returns, managing input tax credit, maintaining detailed financial records related to GST, liaising with tax authorities, and keeping abreast of changes in tax laws. This role requires strong knowledge of GST laws, meticulous attention to detail, proficiency in tax software, and strong reconciliation and analytical skills C TDS up to return filing.

Key Responsibilities

·      GST Return Filing:

Accurately prepare and submit various GST returns, such as GSTR-1 (for outward supplies) and GSTR-3B (monthly summary returns), within statutory deadlines.

·      Compliance and Audits:

Ensure all GST-related activities comply with current laws and regulations and assist with internal and external GST audits by providing necessary documentation.

·      Liaison with Authorities:

Act as a point of contact for GST authorities, addressing queries, managing assessments, and facilitating inspections when necessary.

·      TDS: Payment, TDS Return of salary C other expense.

Required Skills and Qualifications

·      Education: A bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field is often required.

·      Experience: Relevant experience in accounting with a focus on GST C TDS is crucial.

·      Technical Skills: Proficiency in tax software and tools used for GST filings and accounting.

·      Regulatory Knowledge: Strong understanding of Indian GST laws and regulations C TDS Act

·      Analytical Skills: Ability to analyse financial data, reconcile accounts, and identify tax-saving opportunities.

·      Attention to Detail: A high level of accuracy and attention to detail is essential for ensuring compliance and avoiding errors in filings.
