The Role:

Finance Controller at Nothing is someone who doesn't just close books, but
opens new possibilities.
This role is a blend of hardcore finance, business partnering, and data-driven
decision-making. From running cash flow forecasts to leading annual
business plans, you'll be the financial co-pilot for leadership and sales. You'll

work across functions-from auditors to banks, marketplaces to forecasting-
and bring structure, control, and strategic clarity to how we grow.

If spreadsheets excite you as much as product P&Ls, and if you can hold your
own in both budget meetings and pricing huddles, this is your zone.

What you'll do:

Financial Pulsekeeper:

1. Review HQ submissions: cash flow, sales summary, inventory, and
receivables ageing.
2. Track working capital status and cash inflow projections.

Month-End Closing Champion

1. Lead monthly closure of books with accuracy and timeliness.
2. Ensure full compliance with GST, TDS, and other statutory obligations.

Strategic Planning Partner:

1. Contribute to budget submissions and annual business planning.
2. Review forecasts for Smartphones and other IOT devices.
 Performance & Variance Analyst
1. Review monthly/quarterly variances vs. budget and forecasts.
2. Provide actionable insights for deviations in financial performance.

Business-Finance Collaborator:

1. Work closely with Sales team on pricing strategies and rebate
discussions.
2. Join weekly KPI calls to align financial and sales metrics.
3. Drive product-level P&L reviews and profitability tracking.

Cross-Functional Liaison:

1. Coordinate with Banks, Auditors, and third-party vendors.
2. Support QBR (Quarterly Business Review) and MBR (Monthly
Business Review) reporting cycles.
Inventory Watchdog:

1. Monitor inventory movement and ageing to manage working capital
efficiently.

What we are looking for:

  • Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA).
  • Additional qualification such as MBA (Finance) or CMA. (Preferred)
  • Strong understanding of Indian statutory laws (GST, TDS) and regulatory
    frameworks.
  • 12–15 years of progressive experience in financial controllership, planning,
    and analysis—ideally in a tech, consumer electronics, or high-growth
    startup environment.
  • Deep expertise in financial control, FP&A, and strategic finance.
  • Advanced knowledge of ERP systems like SAP, Oracle, or Tally.
  • Analytical, detail-oriented, and highly organized.
  • Strong communication and business partnering abilities.
  • Comfortable in high-growth, fast-paced startup environments.
