About the Role

We're looking for a highly organised and strategic Head - Digital Marketing to join our team in Kochi. In this role, you'll act as the bridge between digital strategy, SEO/growth, PPC and creators—owning the end-to-end content production process from planning and briefs to editing, publishing, and performance learning.

This role will focus on Organic (60%), Paid (20%) and Creative Strategy(20%) and the initial focus will be on SEO

You'll ensure every piece of content is on-brand, on-time, and built to rank, convert, and build credibility—across industries and client types.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the SEO and growth team to develop digital marketing and content strategies across the funnel (awareness → consideration → conversion).
• Create clear, detailed content briefs (intent, keywords, structure, tone, CTA, examples, references).
• Own the full content lifecycle: ideation → brief → writing → editing → QA → publish → refresh.
• Manage content across formats: SEO blogs, landing pages, service pages, case studies, email content, social snippets, and product-led content.
• Coordinate with freelancers/agencies and ensure timely delivery with consistent quality.
• Maintain a content calendar and keep stakeholders aligned on priorities and deadlines.
• Perform thorough QA for SEO best practices, readability, brand voice, factual accuracy, and conversion intent.
• Apply SEO + AI fundamentals to improve speed and quality—without compromising originality or accuracy.
• Use AI tools effectively for research, outlines, editing, repurposing, and content audits; run plagiarism checks and ensure editorial integrity.
• Partner with design and marketing to package content into high-performing assets (lead magnets, landing pages, pitch decks, social proof stories).
• Track performance (rankings, CTR, leads, engagement) and iterate with data.
• Build editorial systems: guidelines, SOPs, templates, QA checklists, and a briefs library.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in content management, editorial, SEO content production, or digital marketing.
• Strong understanding of digital marketing fundamentals (search intent, on-page optimisation, internal linking, topical clusters, content refresh strategy).
• Strong understanding of AI fundamentals for content workflows (prompting, structured outlining, AI-assisted editing, evaluation/QA, hallucination checks, and maintaining originality).
• Proven experience managing multiple content pieces and stakeholders with strong project management skills.
• Strong writing + editing skills with an eye for structure, clarity, and brand consistency.
• Strong exposure to AI tools for content creation and QA (research, optimisation, summarising, rewriting) + plagiarism and originality checks.
• Familiarity with GA, GSC, Ahrefs/SEMrush (or similar).
• Comfortable with a CMS (WordPress/Webflow/Contentful or similar).
• Work-from-Office in Kochi (must be based in Kochi or willing to relocate).
• Native-level English fluency.

Good to Have

• You have a blog or instagram profile that has some fans with extremely good content
• Experience working with multiple industries and varied brand tones.
• Strong grasp of conversion copy basics (CTAs, landing page structure, persuasion).
• Experience setting up content ops systems and dashboards.
• Familiarity with reputation marketing, local SEO, or social-proof driven growth.
