Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for an Asterisk Developer located in Kochi. The Asterisk Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining telecommunication systems and applications using the Asterisk platform. Day-to-day tasks include configuring Asterisk-based VoIP solutions, troubleshooting system issues, optimizing performance, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless communication solutions. The role also involves maintaining documentation and staying updated with industry trends and developments to enhance the system's capabilities.

Qualifications

• Expertise in Asterisk platform and related telecommunication technologies
• Proficiency in VoIP protocols like SIP, RTP, and IAX
• Skills in Linux system administration and Shell scripting
• Knowledge of programming languages like C, PHP, or Python
• Experience with database management systems such as MySQL or PostgreSQL
• Ability to troubleshoot networking and telecommunication system issues
• Familiarity with APIs and integration of third-party systems
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications, or a related field
• Experience in working with large-scale telecommunication systems is a plus
