Job Summary:

The MEP Engineer will be responsible for the planning, design, and management of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems in construction projects. The ideal candidate will have 5-7 years of experience in MEP engineering, with a relevant knowledge of system design, project coordination, and construction management.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and Planning:

  1. System Design:

  2. Review designs of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems for various construction projects.

  3. Review detailed engineering drawings and specifications using CAD software.

  4. Project Planning:

  5. Develop MEP project plans, schedules, and budgets.

  6. Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure integrated project delivery.

  7. Technical Analysis:

  8. Review load calculations and system sizing for HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems.

  9. Perform feasibility studies and technical evaluations.

Project Management:

  1. Project Coordination:

  2. Oversee the installation and commissioning of MEP systems.

  3. Coordinate with contractors and subcontractors to ensure project milestones are met.

  4. Quality Control:

  5. Ensure that all MEP works are carried out in accordance with industry standards and project specifications.

  6. Conduct regular site inspections and audits to monitor progress and quality.

  7. Documentation:

  8. Prepare and maintain project documentation, including reports, change orders, and as-built drawings.

Required Qualifications:

  • Education:

  • Dip/ Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering / Electrical Engineering, or a related field.

  • Experience:

  • 5-7 years of relevant experience in MEP engineering.

  • Proven experience in the implementation of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.

  • Skills:

  • Good Knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit MEP, MS project MS office is preferred.

  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
