Role Description

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented professional to join our team as an Accounts Receivable Specialist. In this full-time on-site role located in Ahmedabad.

The Accounts Receivable Specialist in medical billing is responsible for managing and collecting outstanding payments from insurance companies and patients. This role involves accurately posting payments, reconciling accounts, and identifying and resolving any billing discrepancies. Key duties include generating aging reports, following up on denied claims, and maintaining organized patient and payer records. Effective communication with insurance carriers and patients is essential to ensure timely reimbursement and minimize revenue loss. This position requires meticulous attention to detail and a strong understanding of medical billing procedures and regulations.

Qualifications

  • Strong Analytical Skills to evaluate denied claims, identify errors and resolve the denials.
  • Experience working on different denials and appeals.
  • Proven Debt Collection expertise to manage payment follow-ups and ensure adherence to timelines
  • Excellent Communication skills and handle payment negotiations effectively
  • Ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented, on-site environment
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is preferred
  • Experience in healthcare revenue cycle management is an advantage
