Role Description

We are looking for a highly skilled General Manager – Planning
to join our team in Bengaluru. This is a senior, full-time, on-site leadership role, responsible for overseeing and managing the entire planning function for large-scale civil and interior fit-out projects. The GM Planning will play a critical role in developing project schedules, monitoring progress, managing risks, and ensuring timely project execution in alignment with budgetary and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement
    project schedules, work breakdown structures (WBS), and timelines
    for interior and civil projects.
  • Lead
    project planning, monitoring, and control
    across multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Allocate and optimize
    resources (manpower, materials, and equipment)
    to meet project demands.
  • Conduct
    progress tracking, reporting, and variance analysis
    , identifying risks and bottlenecks early.
  • Collaborate with project managers, site teams, and stakeholders to ensure
    on-time and cost-effective delivery
    .
  • Ensure strict adherence to
    quality standards, HSE norms, and compliance requirements
    .
  • Provide strategic insights for
    project forecasting, budgeting, and capacity planning
    .
  • Mentor and guide the planning team, driving continuous improvements in
    project controls and execution strategies
    .

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (Master's preferred).
  • 7+ years of experience in
    planning and project management
    for large-scale civil and interior fit-out projects.
  • Proficiency in using
    relevant project planning and management software
    .
  • Excellent leadership, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Proven track record of
    delivering high-value corporate/commercial interior projects
    on time and within budget.
  • Ability to work on-site in Bengaluru with frequent project site coordination.
