About the Role:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive
Automation Engineer

with 2–4 years of experience in end-to-end test automation. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in
TypeScript or JavaScript

, along with experience using
Cypress

or
Playwright

for building robust and scalable automated test suites. 

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Cypress or Playwright
  • Collaborate closely with developers, QA, and product teams to understand requirements and ensure test coverage
  • Identify, document, and track bugs and issues through to resolution
  • Continuously improve automation frameworks, tools, and processes
  • Perform root cause analysis of test failures and work with developers to resolve issues
  • Ensure test environments and test data are properly set up for automation execution
  • Contribute to CI/CD pipelines for automated test execution.

Requirements:

  • 2–4 years of experience in
    test automation
  • Proficient in
    JavaScript or TypeScript
  • Hands-on experience with
    Cypress

or
Playwright
- Strong understanding of software testing principles, test methodologies, and agile practices
- Experience in debugging and troubleshooting web applications
- Familiarity with version control tools like Git
- Good understanding of CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI)
- Experience testing APIs using tools like Postman or automated API test scripts
