Key Roles & Responsibilities

-Provide technical leadership in the design and implementation of impact evaluations and process monitoring studies.

  • Lead statistical sampling design, advanced econometric modeling, and quantitative/qualitative analysis.

  • Develop rigorous evaluation frameworks using experimental and quasi-experimental methods.

  • Author high-quality reports, policy briefs, and publications based on impact findings.

  • Guide internal teams and partner organizations in building capacity on M&E frameworks and statistical methodologies.

  • Contribute to thought leadership by advancing evidence-based decision-making in rural livelihoods and enterprise development.

Minimum Qualifications

Advanced degree (PhD preferred) in Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, or B.Tech in Data Science from a reputed and top-ranking university.

Strong academic grounding in applied econometrics and impact evaluation techniques.

Experience

7–10 years of professional experience in Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E), with significant exposure to large-scale impact studies.

Minimum 3 years of experience in leading large-sample impact evaluations using experimental and quasi-experimental designs.

Proven authorship of at least two published/accepted evaluation studies as lead author.

Demonstrated expertise in rural livelihoods, agriculture, and enterprise development sectors.

Strong record of delivering high-quality outputs, managing complex projects, and collaborating with multi-stakeholder teams.

Technical Skills & Tools

Advanced proficiency in statistical software (e.g., Stata, R, Python).

Strong knowledge of data visualization and business intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Google Data Studio) for reporting and decision-making.

Familiarity with database management and big-data handling will be an advantage.
