Ensures that IT services are delivered effectively and efficiently. Incident and Problem Management are services under the ITIL Service Operation process. Responsible for working with small to medium service deficiencies to ensure that normal service operation is restored as quickly as possible and minimize adverse impact on the business. Responsible for managing the lifecycle of a problem, helping to eliminate recurring incidents and minimizing the impact of incidents that cannot be prevented. Requires 24/7 on-call support and the ability to manage bridge line of multiple teams on an escalated incented until resolution.

The Ideal Candidate will possess Techno-functional capabilities with strong understanding of business processes in JD Edwards XE ERP (JDE World Soft A7.3 and OneWorld).

This position is working for a movie studio in the Home Entertainment department. Prior work history for a movie studio and industry knowledge required.

Job Duties include:

  • Incident resolution, problem identification, code fixes and development of requirements for application enhancements.
  • Analyzing data and program code to trouble shoot issues.
  • provisioning environments for application development projects,
  • Working with application development teams (on-shore and off-shore) application support and coding projects.
  • Maintaining thorough documentation on technical configurations and support procedures
  • Project management for JDE support, development, and implementation projects.
  • Work in JD Edwards tool set including Object Management Workbench (OMW), Report Design Aid (RDA), Business View Design Aid (BDA), Form Design Aid (FDA), Table Design Aid(TDA), Processing Options, User Defined Codes (UDC), Next Numbers(NN), Data dictionary(DD), Menus, Universal Table Browser (UTB), Universal Batch Engine (UBE), Debugger, NER, Event rules.
  • Worked in WorldSoft Data dictionary, Software Version repository, UDC, Vocabulary override, Menus, Dream writer, Security, Processing option, Debug.
  • Established effective working partnerships with clients, achieved expectations, ensuring customer excellence through leadership, organizational, oral/written communication, interpersonal, analytical, and problem resolution skills.
  • Ensure system health by recommending, planning, and implementing patches, system improvements, and upgrades.
  • Maintain best practices according to ITIL and Oracle standards.
  • Acting as a liaison between the Business Analyst and the development team by providing Technical and functional support for the team working in enhancements.
  • Participate in change control meeting to adhere SOX compliance requirements.
