Primary Responsibilities: Hands-on ownership of day-to-day ops—ticket triage/resolution, AD/GPO implementation, M365 user setups, firewall rule updates under change control, backups, audit execution, and first-line work on the Sapphire Portals with devs.

Core technical skills:

  • Networking & Security: Fortinet basics (policies, VPN, logs), VLAN/DHCP/DNS
  • Windows Server & AD: OU/user management, GPO creation (USB/web policies), event log review
  • Microsoft 365 admin: user/mailbox/Teams provisioning, Outlook troubleshooting, basic Exchange Online hygiene
  • Ticketing & documentation: BoldDesk workflows, SLA awareness, clear ticket notes, monthly reports
  • Backups & updates: follow schedules, verify restore points, patch status reporting
  • Cloud & hosting: cPanel basics, SSL renewals, DNS record changes, simple AWS tasks (S3 IAM policies)
  • Portals: coordinate change requests with devs, UAT sign-off, user query handling
  • Facilities: VoIP extension setup, CCTV/attendance/telephone exchange basics

Soft skills:

  • Customer-centric troubleshooting, time management, escalation sense
  • Clear verbal communication with non-technical staff/clients
  • Discipline with SOPs, checklists, and evidence capture (screens, logs)

Education & Experience:

  • Degree: B.Tech/B.E. (CSE/IT/ECE) or BCA (MCA is a plus)
  • Experience: 3–6 years in IT support/sysadmin/network support
  • Nice-to-have certs: Fortinet NSE 3/4 (associate level), Microsoft Fundamentals (MS-900/AZ-900), ITIL Foundation
  • Salary: PA
