Job Title: Tool Automation Engineer – Runtrack Processing (Python/Shell)

Experience: 5–6 years

About the Role

We are seeking a Tool Automation Engineer to automate the end-to-end Runtrack Generation & Processing workflow for vehicle drive data (LLL/LLG projects). The role involves building scalable automation scripts, optimizing scheduling workflows, and replacing current manual processes with robust, production-ready pipelines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop Python and Shell scripts to automate each stage of Runtrack generation and processing.
  • Convert existing manual Colab workflows into automated upload pipelines.
  • Implement and manage job scheduling using PLX or BorgCron.
  • Collaborate with data, validation, and tooling teams to streamline operational processes.
  • Perform debugging, optimization, and quality checks for all automated components.
  • Create high-quality documentation, including HLDs (High-Level Design), workflow diagrams, and SOPs.
  • Support deployment and integration into internal tooling ecosystems.

Required Skills

  • Strong hands-on experience with Python scripting and Shell scripting.
  • Understanding of automation workflows, pipelines, and job schedulers (PLX / BorgCron or any cron-based system).
  • Experience with data processing, file handling, APIs, or automation frameworks.
  • Familiarity with Jupyter/Colab notebooks and converting notebooks into scripts.
  • Knowledge of Linux environments, debugging logs, and performance optimization.
  • Ability to create clear, concise documentation and HLDs.

Job Types: Part-time, Freelance

Pay: ₹30, ₹40,000.00 per month
