The Role

We are seeking an experienced QA Automation professional with deep domain expertise in Fintech, particularly around credit scoring, credit bureau integrations, loan origination, and credit monitoring systems. This role requires a hands-on approach to developing and maintaining scalable, robust automation frameworks across API, UI, and backend services. You will be a key driver of quality in an agile, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities (What You Will Do)

• Automation Framework Leadership:
• Design, develop, and maintain highly efficient and scalable automation frameworks for API (REST/SOAP), UI, and backend data validation using industry-leading tools.
• Champion best practices for test automation, code quality, and framework architecture.
• Fintech Domain Testing:
• Automate end-to-end testing of complex credit scoring workflows, including scenario simulation, rule engine validation, and decisioning logic accuracy.
• Develop specialized tests for integration points with credit bureau APIs (e.g., CIBIL, Experian, Equifax) and other third-party services.
• Validate and monitor data integrity within credit monitoring modules and reporting systems.
• Testing Execution & Strategy:
• Lead test planning, strategy, and execution for functional, regression, integration, load/performance, and security testing cycles.
• Integrate automation scripts seamlessly into the Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipeline.
• Actively participate in sprint ceremonies (planning, stand-ups, retrospectives) in an Agile/Scrum environment.
• Quality Assurance & Analysis:
• Perform meticulous defect analysis, root cause investigation, and detailed reporting to development teams.
• Define, implement, and track key Quality Assurance metrics and KPIs.
• Collaborate closely with Product Managers and Development Teams to establish quality gates and acceptance criteria for all features.
• Compliance & Security:
• Ensure all testing and data handling processes adhere strictly to financial regulatory compliance standards (e.g., data privacy, security protocols) relevant to the lending/credit industry.

Required Skills & Experience

Technical Expertise:

• Total Experience: Minimum 8+years of experience in Software Quality Assurance and Testing.
• Automation Focus: Minimum 3+ years of dedicated, hands-on experience in building, enhancing, and maintaining test automation frameworks from scratch.
• Programming Proficiency: Expert proficiency in at least one object-oriented programming language for automation scripting, preferably Java or Python.
• Automation Tools Mastery: Strong hands-on experience with:
• UI Automation: Selenium WebDriver, Cypress, or Playwright.
• API Testing: RestAssured, Postman (for manual/initial checks), and advanced framework implementation using code (e.g., Java/TestNG with RestAssured).
• DevOps & CI/CD: Proven experience integrating automated tests with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, Bamboo, or Azure DevOps.
• Architecture Knowledge: Experience testing modern distributed systems, including Microservices, RESTful APIs, and cloud-based applications (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Database: Proficient in SQL for data validation and backend testing.

Fintech Domain Specific:

• Credit Systems: Solid, verifiable understanding of the end-to-end Credit Score workflow, Loan Decisioning processes, and Credit Monitoring systems.
• Bureau Integrations: Direct experience testing systems that interact with major Credit Bureau APIs and processing bureau data/response structures.
• Lending Ecosystem: Deep knowledge of the broader lending/Fintech ecosystem and associated regulatory requirements.

Professional & Soft Skills:

• Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills are a must for effective collaboration with remote teams, stakeholders, and product owners.
• Analytical: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and diagnostic skills with keen attention to detail.
• Documentation: Ability to create clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans, test cases, and quality reports.

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: ₹1,800, ₹2,000,000.00 per year
