Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced SAP BASIS Consultant with strong hands-on experience in SAP S/4HANA implementation projects to support our prestigious client. The ideal candidate will have deep technical expertise in system administration, installation, configuration, and performance tuning of SAP landscapes.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage end-to-end SAP BASIS administration across development, quality, and production environments.
Perform installation, upgrade, migration, and maintenance of SAP systems (S/4HANA, ECC, BW, Solution Manager, Fiori, etc.).
Support SAP HANA database administration and performance optimization.
Monitor system health, perform tuning, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability.
Manage transport management system (TMS) and perform client copies, system refreshes, and patch updates.
Coordinate with infrastructure, application, and security teams for seamless system operations.
Implement and maintain SAP security, backup, and disaster recovery plans.
Support cutover activities and provide go-live/post-go-live support during the implementation phase.
Prepare and maintain detailed technical documentation and process workflows.
Required Skills:
Strong hands-on experience in SAP BASIS Administration (Implementation & Support).
Must have worked on S/4HANA systems (Installation, Upgrade, and Maintenance).
Proficiency in SAP HANA DB, Oracle DB, and Linux/Unix environments.
Good understanding of SAP Solution Manager and Fiori Administration.
Experience with Cloud (AWS / Azure / GCP)-based SAP systems preferred.
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and client-handling skills, especially in global project environments.
