Role/Designation: Project Manager – Medical AI

Shift: Night Shift (to align with US stakeholders)

Location: Kolkata, Salt Lake, Sector V

Work Mode: Work from Office (Full-time)

About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project Manager (Medical AI) to lead large-scale healthcare data projects. In this role, you will oversee a team of 40+ professionals, including BDS doctors, pharmacists, and nurses, while working closely with US-based clients and stakeholders. The projects focus on medical data management and annotation for AI/ML applications, contributing to cutting-edge innovations in healthcare.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end execution of medical data projects, ensuring delivery on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Coordinate with internal teams, external stakeholders, and third-party vendors for seamless project execution.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, tracking milestones, deliverables, and KPIs.
  • Establish and manage strong relationships with clients and stakeholders, ensuring consistent communication and alignment.
  • Proactively identify risks and implement strategies for mitigation to ensure project stability.
  • Prepare, manage, and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
  • Provide leadership, guidance, and performance management for a large team of healthcare professionals.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Education: Physician/MBBS degree (mandatory) with relevant project management experience.
  • Experience:
  • Proven experience in project management within healthcare services.
  • Hands-on exposure to projects involving medical ontologies such as SNOMED, LOINC, RxNORM, and ICD-10.
  • Experience managing large healthcare data teams preferred.

Key Skills

  • Strong understanding of medical concepts, ontologies, and healthcare processes.
  • Excellent communication and English comprehension skills.
  • Proficiency in computer literacy and project management tools.
  • Strong leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage night shifts (IST) to coordinate with US clients.
  • Commitment to working full-time from the office.
