Role Summary:

As the Team Lead - Video Analytics at , you will be the driving force behind the development and expansion of our video analytics infrastructure. Your role involves charting the technical roadmap, leading our engineering team to innovation and excellence, and bolstering our product suite. You will play a crucial role in refining our AI deployment frameworks, ensuring our technology not only aligns with but also sets industry benchmarks and fulfills customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the strategy and execution for technology platforms, focusing on the evolution and enhancement of our flagship AI-enabled video analytics system, AIVIS.
  • Architect and deploy scalable, high-performance video analytics infrastructure that supports extensive CCTV feeds processing and analysis in real-time.
  • Champion best practices in backend development, particularly with Python and frameworks like Django, ensuring robust, scalable, and maintainable codebases.
  • Drive the integration and optimization of advanced AI and machine learning models, utilizing frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or other modern AI technologies.
  • Spearhead innovation and research initiatives in video analytics and AI, staying ahead of technological trends to identify avenues for product feature enhancements and advancements.
  • Collaborate with product and cross-functional teams to ensure technology developments are in sync with business objectives and customer needs.
  • Cultivate and lead the engineering team, promoting a culture of innovation, technical excellence, and lifelong learning.
  • Implement strict security measures and privacy-compliant processes to protect company and customer data.
  • Manage relationships with stakeholders, including vendors, partners, and customers, aligning technology strategies with broader business goals.

Qualifications:

  • Proven track record as a Team Lead or similar leadership role, with a strong emphasis on developing and scaling video analytics or AI deployment infrastructures.
  • Extensive experience in backend development, particularly with Django or similar frameworks, and proficiency in Python and other relevant programming languages and technologies.
  • Deep understanding of AI and machine learning, with practical experience in deploying AI solutions using frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, etc.
  • Demonstrated leadership in nurturing and expanding technology teams, fostering a climate of innovation and technical prowess.
  • Strong problem-solving, strategic thinking, and communication capabilities.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline
