Role Overview

We are looking for a senior ServiceNow Developer whose core responsibility is to
deliver advanced, practitioner-level training to experienced industry professionals
. This role focuses on
upskilling working ServiceNow developers, architects, and platform owners
through deep technical sessions, best-practice guidance, and real implementation scenarios.

This is
not a classroom or entry-level teaching role
. The trainer is expected to command respect through hands-on expertise, architectural understanding, and production experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Delivered advanced technical training to experienced ServiceNow developers, administrators, and architects.
  • Designed and conducted deep-dive sessions on platform architecture, complex scripting, performance tuning, and scalability.
  • Led hands-on workshops covering advanced Business Rules, Script Includes, Flow Designer, integrations, and UI Frameworks.
  • Reviewed real project implementations and provided corrective guidance and optimization recommendations.
  • Explained upgrade strategies, technical debt management, and long-term platform governance.
  • Standardized development practices, coding standards, and documentation across teams.
  • Mentored senior developers on design decisions, security, and maintainability.
  • Aligned training content with enterprise use cases and live customer environments.
  • Acted as a technical authority during enablement sessions, design reviews, and solution walkthroughs.

Required Experience & Skills

  • Extensive hands-on experience as a ServiceNow Developer in enterprise environments.
  • Deep knowledge of ServiceNow platform internals and architecture.
  • Strong expertise in JavaScript, Glide APIs, Script Includes, integrations (REST/SOAP), and data models.
  • Practical experience with complex workflows, performance optimization, and large-scale deployments.
  • Proven ability to explain advanced technical concepts to experienced professionals.
  • Experience working with ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, CSM, or custom applications.
  • Strong documentation, presentation, and facilitation skills.
