Our journey so far:

Jupiter was founded in 2019 by Jitendra Gupta. Best known as Citrus Pay's founder, Jiten found himself wondering why personal finance experiences were not customer-centric when everything else like food ordering and entertainment were. That's how our journey began in 2019, with a simple, powerful idea : to create a modern, customer-centric experience that empowers individuals when it comes to their money.

From our humble beginnings, we've strived relentlessly to make managing money easier. In 2021 when we launched we had a waitlist with over 100,000 people eager to experience the world of Jupiter - and within 10 months we crossed 1 million users. Today, we have 2.7 million + happy users on Jupiter.

Our No-Penalty SIP and Daily SIP at Rs 10/- has helped scale our investments business and we have over 100,000 users investing on our platform to fulfill their money aspirations. We've embraced cutting-edge technology, harnessed the power of data analytics, and assembled a diverse team of creative thinkers and industry experts who share our vision for a more accessible, transparent, and inclusive financial ecosystem. Responsibilities:

  • Own and work end-to-end on a product/platform component, alongside Product and Design/UX functions
  • Write efficient and readable code
  • Algorithm development, implementation, profiling and optimisation of the backend components/services
  • Compliance with build and configuration management process
  • Create and execute appropriate quality plans, project plans, test strategies and processes for development activities in concert with business and project management efforts.
  • Design of High Level Designs(HLDs) and Low Level Designs(LLDs) from user requirements

Requirements:

  • 1-2 years of experience building backend microservices
  • Coding on the JVM stack using either Java or Kotlin; Writes secure, testable, maintainable code with minimal defects
  • Ability to convert a design into code and deliver it using software engineering best practices
  • Ability to choose the right algorithm, data structure, and design pattern for the given problem statement
  • Understands the maintenance characteristics, runtime properties, and dependencies of software; Experience with CI/CD stacks such as GoCD, Spinnaker
  • Identify software defects by reviewing code errors, log files, metrics, and other common troubleshooting techniques.
  • Experience working in public cloud such as AWS, familiarity with the Kubernetes ecosystem and monitoring stacks such as Prometheus, Grafana and alerting systems are big pluses to have
