Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Doctor of Pharmacy located in Ahmedabad with some work-from-home flexibility. The Doctor of Pharmacy will be responsible for dispensing medications, providing drug therapy recommendations, counseling patients on the use of prescriptions and over-the-counter medications, and ensuring accurate documentation of patient records. This role also includes collaborating with healthcare professionals to optimize patient treatment plans, conducting medication therapy management, complying with regulatory requirements, and engaging in continuous professional development.

Qualifications

  • A Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D) degree from an accredited institution
  • Strong knowledge in pharmacology, pharmacotherapy, and clinical pharmacy
  • Excellent communication and patient counseling skills
  • Attention to detail, accuracy in dispensing medications, and documentation skills
  • Ability to collaborate with healthcare professionals and participate in multidisciplinary teams
  • Proficiency in medication therapy management (MTM) and drug utilization review (DUR)
  • Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and pharmacy laws
  • Commitment to continuous professional development and staying updated with the latest in the field of pharmacy
