Role Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and empathetic Programme Lead to lead our Skill Development & Livelihood vertical. This role involves designing, implementing, and scaling inclusive training programmes that equip blind and visually impaired youth with market-relevant skills and pathways to dignified employment or entrepreneurship.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and manage end-to-end skill development programmes tailored for visually impaired youth
  • Build partnerships with training institutes, employers, and government bodies for inclusive skilling and placement
  • Develop accessible curriculum and training modules in collaboration with subject experts and adaptive tech specialists
  • Monitor programme outcomes, track impact metrics, and ensure continuous improvement
  • Lead community engagement, mobilization, and onboarding of participants
  • Facilitate capacity-building workshops for trainers and staff on inclusive pedagogy
  • Prepare donor reports, case studies, and impact narratives to support fundraising and advocacy

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelors/ Master's degree in Social Work, Education, Development Studies, or related field
  • 4–6 years of experience in programme management, preferably in skilling, livelihoods, or disability inclusion
  • Proven ability to build stakeholder relationships and manage multi-partner collaborations
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and team leadership skills
  • Good knowledge of Kannada (read, write and speak)

Preferred Attributes

  • Experience working with blind or visually impaired communities
  • Understanding of accessibility, assistive technologies, and inclusive training methodologies
  • Familiarity with CSR, government schemes, and vocational training ecosystems
  • Passion for inclusion, innovation, and systemic change
