Salesforce QA Engineer

Software Engineer- Salesforce QA

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Salesforce QA Engineer who will validate and test new features and functionality as they are developed.

You will be responsible for:

• Develop and maintain comprehensive test plans aligned with project scope, timelines, and business requirements.
• Analyze functional and technical requirements to identify gaps, inconsistencies, and edge cases.
• Design, create, and execute detailed manual and automated test cases to validate Salesforce configurations, customizations, and integrations.
• Validate user roles, security settings, and sharing rules to ensure compliance and data integrity.
• Perform integration testing between Salesforce and external systems such as Convera ECM, onboarding platforms, entity management, and credit systems.
• Identify, log, and track software defects using tools like JIRA, and collaborate with developers for timely resolution.
• Utilize test management tools such as TestRail or Zephyr to manage test cases and execution cycles.
• Write and execute SQL queries for backend data validation and updates.
• Ensure end-to-end test coverage, including edge cases and performance scenarios.
• Communicate findings clearly through detailed bug reports and participate in cross-functional team discussions.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes and best practices.
• Support automation testing efforts and contribute to the development of automated test scripts.

You should apply if you have:

• Several years of experience in software quality assurance, preferably with a focus on Salesforce.
• ISTQB certification or equivalent QA certification is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of Salesforce platform capabilities, standard functionalities, and configurations.
• Proficiency in test case design, execution, and defect tracking.
• Experience with JIRA, TestRail, Zephyr, or similar tools.
• Ability to write and execute SQL queries for data validation.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Experience with automation testing tools is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity with Salesforce automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Provar, or similar).
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and version control systems like Git.
