Job Summary

DTDC is looking for a Business Development Executive to drive growth by acquiring new customers, expanding key accounts, and increasing shipment volumes. This is a field-focused, target-driven role ideal for candidates with strong sales and relationship-building skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and onboard new business customers (SMEs, retailers, e-commerce sellers).
  • Generate leads through field visits, references, and market mapping.
  • Promote DTDC courier, express, bulk, and COD services.
  • Negotiate pricing and close business deals.
  • Achieve monthly and quarterly revenue and shipment targets.
  • Build and maintain long-term customer relationships.
  • Coordinate with operations teams for smooth pickups and deliveries.
  • Track customer performance and ensure repeat business.
  • Monitor competitor activity and market trends.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Proven experience in business development or field sales (courier/logistics preferred).
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and closing skills.
  • Target-oriented and self-motivated mindset.
  • Ability to travel locally for customer meetings.
  • Basic knowledge of logistics, courier, or e-commerce shipments is an advantage.
  • Education: 12th pass / Any graduate.
  • Two-wheeler with valid license preferred.
