Contract Term: 12 Months (Renewable)

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced X++ / Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O) Developer who has strong expertise in BYOD (Bring Your Own Database) and hands-on experience with Power Automate, Logic Apps, and integrations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, customizing, and maintaining D365 solutions, managing integrations, and providing high-quality technical support to business users.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain customizations in Dynamics 365 F&O using X++.
- Implement and manage BYOD (Bring Your Own Database) solutions, including entity exports, incremental loads, scheduling, and troubleshooting.
- Build workflows and process automations using Power Automate (Cloud & Desktop) and Azure Logic Apps.
- Develop and support system integrations using APIs, JSON, files, and related technologies.
- Write clear and detailed technical documentation, including design documents, test cases, and deployment notes.
- Perform unit testing and peer code reviews to ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Triage and resolve issues reported by business users, reproducing them in the development environment.
- Collaborate with business users to confirm issues, validate solutions, and ensure timely resolution.
- Communicate the root cause of issues clearly and provide recommendations for permanent fixes.
Required Skills & Experience
- 910 years of proven experience in X++ development within Dynamics AX / D365 Finance & Operations.
- Strong hands-on knowledge of BYOD in D365, including data entity exports and performance tuning.
- Proficiency in Power Automate (Cloud & Desktop) and Azure Logic Apps.
- Experience in developing and managing customizations (creation and removal).
- Solid understanding of system integrations (APIs, JSON, file-based).
- Strong skills in technical documentation, test case creation, and unit testing.
- Ability to perform peer reviews and maintain high coding standards.
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills; ability to reproduce and resolve issues independently.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work directly with business stakeholders.
- Flexibility to work in alignment with Pacific region business hours.
Nice to Have
- Experience with Data Synapse or similar data orchestration tools.
- Knowledge of broader Azure services (Service Bus, Event Grid, Functions, etc.).
- Experience with performance optimization in D365 F&O and large dataset handling.
Contract Details
- Duration: 12 months (renewable based on performance & project requirements).
- Engagement: Full-time contract, aligned to Pacific time zone.
- Compensation: Competitive, based on experience.
