About the Role

We are seeking a skilled ServiceNow ITOM Developer to join our team and support a leading global banking client. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in ServiceNow ITOM modules (Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Management, CMDB, Cloud Management) and proven experience in developing and integrating ITOM solutions within enterprise environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, configure, and customize ServiceNow ITOM applications.
  • Implement and optimize Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Management, and CMDB modules.
  • Integrate ServiceNow ITOM with third-party systems/tools to enhance automation and monitoring.
  • Collaborate with infrastructure, cloud, and security teams to ensure accurate service mapping.
  • Develop scripts, workflows, and automation for IT operations.
  • Troubleshoot issues, provide ongoing support, and ensure best practices are followed.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver high-quality solutions aligned with the bank's IT strategy.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 4–8 years of overall IT experience with at least 3+ years in ServiceNow ITOM development.
  • Hands-on experience with Discovery, Service Mapping, CMDB, and Event Management.
  • Strong understanding of ITIL processes and IT Service Management (ITSM).
  • Proficiency in JavaScript, ServiceNow scripting, APIs, and integrations.
  • Knowledge of cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP) and monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, Nagios, Dynatrace, AppDynamics).
  • ServiceNow certification(s) in ITOM or CSA/ CIS-Discovery/ CIS-Event Management highly desirable.
  • Experience working in the Banking/Financial Services domain is an advantage.
