Role Overview:

The MIS Expert will be responsible for designing, managing, and analyzing Management Information Systems to support data-driven decision-making across multiple verticals — including Projects, Finance, HR, Procurement, and Operations. The role involves developing dashboards, reports, and analytical models that provide timely, accurate insights into business performance, project progress, and resource utilization.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Data Management & Reporting

  2. Develop, implement, and maintain MIS databases, dashboards, and reporting systems (Excel, Power BI, Zoho, or ERP-based).

  3. Consolidate daily/weekly/monthly reports from various departments (Projects, HR, BD, Procurement, Finance).
  4. Ensure data accuracy, validation, and consistency across all reports.

  5. Automate recurring reports and optimize data flow to reduce manual effort.

  6. Analysis & Insights

  7. Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs), budgets, and timelines for management review.

  8. Identify process gaps and provide actionable insights to improve operational efficiency.
  9. Prepare variance analysis, trend reports, and performance summaries for leadership meetings.

  10. Assist management in strategic decision-making through detailed data analysis and forecasting models.

  11. System Development & Optimization

  12. Design customized MIS templates, dashboards, and visualization tools.

  13. Work with IT/ERP vendors to improve system functionality, integrations, and user access.

  14. Develop and maintain documentation of MIS processes, SOPs, and data protocols.

  15. Coordination & Compliance

  16. Liaise with departmental heads to ensure timely and accurate data submission.

  17. Support audit and compliance processes with relevant MIS reports and data extracts.
  18. Ensure confidentiality and data security across all reporting platforms.

Key Skills & Competencies:

  • Advanced Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, INDEX-MATCH, Power Query, Macros).
  • Expertise in BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Google Data Studio, Zoho Analytics).
  • Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of database management (SQL / Access preferred).
  • Attention to detail, accuracy, and a structured approach to reporting.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple data streams.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Data Analytics, Commerce, or related field.
  • 8-10 years of experience in MIS, Data Analysis, or Reporting roles (preferably in projects, manufacturing, creative, or service industries).
  • Experience with ERP systems (SAP / Zoho / TYA Suite / Odoo / Oracle) is an advantage.
  • Prior exposure to tender, project, or operational data management will be preferred.

  • Accuracy & timeliness of MIS reports.
  • Reduction in manual reporting time.
  • Quality of insights and recommendations for management.
  • Process improvements implemented through MIS analytics.

Remuneration:

Competitive, based on experience and expertise.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹40, ₹70,000.00 per month
