Role Description

This is an on-site internship role for a Graduate Engineer located in the Pune/Pimpri-Chinchwad area. The Graduate Engineer will assist in automotive design and development activities, including CAD modeling, CAE analysis, drafting, and design validation. The individual will contribute to various project phases, such as prototyping, documentation, and field-testing support, as well as collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project deliverables are met. Participation in benchmarking exercises and technical reporting will also be part of the responsibilities.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in CAD modeling tools such as Unigraphics, CATIA, Creo, or Solidworks
  • Knowledge of CAE analysis tools, including Hypermesh, ANSYS, or LS-Dyna
  • Familiarity with automotive design elements like commercial or passenger vehicle structures, truck or bus body design, and agricultural machinery
  • Basic understanding of homologation, certification processes, and regulatory compliance standards
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities relevant to engineering
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Automotive, or related engineering fields
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate with team members and stakeholders
  • Internship or academic project experience in automotive design is a plus
