Account Manager, Interventional Oncology & Embolisation (Norte de Espaa)
Work mode: Field Based
Onsite Location(s): Bilbao, ES
Location: in the north of Spain, preferably in the area of Pas Vasco | Assigned Territory: Pas Vasco, Navarra, Cantabria and Burgos.
The core objective of this role is to support the Divisional Manager in achieving the goals and objectives of the Peripheral Interventions Interventional Oncology & Embolisation division they represent, in the area of Pas Vasco, Navarra, Cantabria and Burgos.
Your Responsibilities Will Include:- This role has specific responsibility for all products in the division's: Therasphere, Ablation, Chemoembolization and Core Business lines.
- Develop as professional account manager by acquiring working knowledge and selling techniques fundamentals. Able to tackle routine issues, knowledge in the medical device industry (Boston Scientific and competitors).
- Development of the assigned commercial area together with the marketing team and other departments involved.
- Visit customers and/or potential customers of Boston Scientific on a regular and planned basis to promote products and services to achieve monthly, quarterly and yearly sales targets, as agreed with the Manager.
- Manage existing and acquire new customers in the assigned territory under close supervision & guidance of the Manager.
- Follow the instructions of manager in order to plan and develop the market for our existing and new products according to divisional goals and objectives, through execution, while optimize available tools (consignment, etc).
- Attend the different digital and in-person meetings required by the organization.
- Work efficiently with Boston Scientific CRM and digitalization projects on a regular basis.
- Receive & provide ongoing technical & clinical training and support to customers directly in the operating room on a weekly basis.
- Establish & develop strong business relationships with hospital management, purchasing department and hospital staff.
- Attend meetings, conferences and exhibitions as required to promote Boston Scientific products and services.
- Analyze and report to the Manager and/or others (regular basis) the market and business feedback by using all available support tools.
- To represent Boston Scientific values and integrity.
- Upon request, may participate in local & EMEA team projects.
- Preferably Health Sciences &/or engineer academic studies background.
- Around 3 years of experience in medical device or pharmaceutical sales; and/or background in interventional oncology, embolization, ablation or Selective Internal Radiation Therapy (SIRT) products.
- Experience supporting procedures in Cath labs highly appreciated.
- Based in the Pas Vasco area preferably.
- Experience in Interventional Oncology products & procedures.
- Previous experience in multidisciplinary work in tumor committees.
- Local Customers & market knowledge.
- Experience preparing tenders & relationship with purchase centers and other hospital stakeholders.
- Fluency in English.
- Motivation and positive attitude.
- Availability for travel in area of responsibility and nationally when necessary.
- Experience with digital tools will be highly appreciated.
