1st Cook

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced 1st Cook to join our team on a European Cruise Line. The ideal candidate will have 3-6 years of experience in the culinary industry, preferably in hotels and restaurants.

Roles and Responsibility

• Prepare and cook high-quality dishes according to recipes and presentation standards.
• Manage kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and service.
• Supervise and train junior kitchen staff to ensure efficient service.
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
• Develop menus and recipes to enhance the dining experience.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery.

Job Requirements

• Proven experience as a cook in a professional kitchen setting.
• Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and menu planning.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and inventory management software.
• Culinary certification or relevant training is an asset.
