Role Overview: We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Automotive Product Designer to join our team, focusing on the design and prototyping of innovative electric golf carts. The ideal candidate will blend artistic vision with engineering principles, using modern online tools and software to create functional, aesthetically pleasing, and marketable designs. This role is perfect for a passionate and skilled individual with a foundational understanding of product design and a keen interest in the electric vehicle (EV) sector.

Key Responsibilities: Concept & Ideation: Generate fresh design concepts for EV golf carts through sketching, mood boards, and digital visualizations.3D Modeling: Create detailed 3D models and digital prototypes using industry-standard CAD software to visualize and refine designs.

Prototyping: Collaborate with the engineering team to create virtual and physical prototypes for design validation, testing, and feedback.Design-for-Manufacturing: Ensure designs are practical and feasible for production, considering materials, manufacturing processes, and cost-effectiveness.

User Experience (UX): Focus on the ergonomic and user-centric design of the vehicle's interior and exterior, ensuring comfort, safety, and a positive user experience.

Research & Trends: Stay updated on the latest trends in automotive design, EV technology, and materials to inform and inspire your work.

Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineers and marketers, to integrate technical requirements and brand identity into the design process.

Required Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automobile Engineering, Industrial Design, or a related field.

Experience: 1-2 years of experience in product design, automotive design, or a similar role, with a strong portfolio of design projects.

Technical Skills:Proficiency in at least one CAD (Computer-Aided Design) software, such as Fusion 360, SolidWorks, or CATIA.Familiarity with 3D modeling, rendering, and simulation tools.Basic knowledge of materials and manufacturing processes relevant to vehicle production (e.g., sheet metal, plastics).

Soft Skills: Strong creativity and an eye for aesthetics and detail.Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to articulate design ideas effectively.A collaborative mindset with the ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.Problem-solving skills and a passion for learning and innovation.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to ₹250,000.00 per year
