Job Overview
The Deputy Head - Digital Transformation will be responsible for leading, managing, and recruiting Product and engineering teams to Define Product Roadmap, features, technology solutions for Digital product and setup process that promotes collaboration and open communication, bridging functional gaps for high-quality and timely delivery of architecture implementation.
Duties & Responsibilities
Strategic Product Leadership & Delivery
- Collaborate with engineering, design, architecture, QA, and security teams to balance priorities and deliver high-quality product features.
- Align product priorities across business, technology, and security stakeholders to ensure delivery of scalable, compliant, and customer-centric solutions.
- Define and maintain the product roadmap, ensuring trade-offs are well-managed to meet business and customer goals.
- Ensure timely and incremental delivery of product features by driving Agile ceremonies, tracking progress, and removing roadblocks in collaboration with delivery teams.
Customer-Centric Innovation & Performance
- Translate customer needs and industry trends into innovative solutions that strengthen the platform's competitive edge.
- Act as the bridge between clients, internal teams, and leadership to align expectations and drive adoption.
- Ensure the product meets standards of scalability, security, and reliability while continuously improving user experience.
- Define and track key product metrics (e.g., uptime, adoption, NPS, issue resolution) to measure performance and guide data-driven improvements.
Team Enablement & Functional Growth
- Mentor junior Product Managers and analysts, foster innovation, and build functional expertise within the product team (without departmental HR responsibilities).
Team Management & Succession Planning
- Manage and develop staff, including performance management, training, and career development.
- Create and maintain a robust talent pipeline to ensure succession planning (1:2 ratio).
Environment, Social & Governance
- Oversee corporate governance within the assigned region, ensuring alignment with organizational principles, policies, and regulations.
- Promote judicious use of natural resources and adhere to the organization's environment, health, and safety policies, objectives, and guidelines.
- Drive the organization's sustainability initiatives, working towards achieving established targets.
Anti Bribery Management Systems (ABMS)
- Follow the ABMS roles and responsibilities details as prescribed on the ABMS manual.
- Understanding of ethical standards and the importance of integrity in business practices.
- Ability to identify and evaluate risks related to bribery in various business contexts. For more detailed explanation, follow the ABMS manual
Additional Responsibilities
- Define product vision, strategy, and roadmap for the appointment management platform in line with business goals.
- Gather customer insights and market trends to shape features that drive adoption and user satisfaction.
- Translate requirements into user stories, prioritize the backlog, and drive delivery using Agile methods.
- Collaborate with engineering, design, security, and operations to deliver secure, scalable, and compliant solutions.
- Track product KPIs, monitor performance, and make data-driven decisions for continuous improvement.
- Act as the key liaison with clients and stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment on roadmap and outcomes.
Education
- Graduate/ Postgraduate in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent degree.
Experience
- 12+ years of experience in Software Engineering, encompassing roles like Product Manager and various Engineering delivery positions.
