Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Test Engineer with strong expertise in testing Android applications and cloud platforms (GCP or AWS). The ideal candidate will have a solid background in both manual and automated testing, with hands-on experience in Robot Framework, Python, and tools like Selenium, Postman, JMeter, and Jenkins. Familiarity with Agile methodologies and test management tools is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct
    functional and non-functional testing
    on applications deployed on
    GCP or AWS
    .
  • Perform
    manual and automated testing
    of Android applications to ensure high-quality deliverables.
  • Develop and maintain
    automated test scripts
    using
    Robot Framework and Python
    for functional, regression, and performance testing.
  • Execute
    compatibility testing
    across various Android flavors, devices, and screen sizes.
  • Perform
    Play Store application testing
    across Android variants.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, designers, and product managers to identify and resolve issues.
  • Execute test cases, analyze results, and provide detailed reports to stakeholders.
  • Perform
    Web Automation using Selenium
    and
    API Automation using Postman
    .
  • Design test cases using
    Mind Maps
    , and manage them in
    Polarion or Jira (SynapseRT)
    .
  • Conduct
    Scalability and Performance Testing
    using tools like
    JMeter
    .
  • Validate
    API Security and Performance
    .
  • Integrate test automation into
    CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins
    .
  • Work in
    Agile development environments
    , participating in sprint planning and retrospectives.
  • Leverage
    AI tools
    to enhance test case development and automation strategies.

Required Skills:

  • Strong experience in
    Cloud Testing
    (GCP or AWS).
  • Proficiency in
    Android application testing
    .
  • Hands-on experience with
    Robot Framework
    ,

  • Experience with
    Play Store app testing
    and Android device compatibility.
  • Familiarity with
    Microservices architecture

  • Strong understanding of

  • Excellent knowledge of
    Agile methodologies
    .
  • Strong communication and analytical skills.
  • Experience with

    for test case generation is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • ISTQB or equivalent certification is a plus.
