Job Title: Data Scientist

Reports To: Head of Data Science

Job Summary:

We are looking for a Data Scientist with a strong background in Machine Learning, Predictive Analytics, and Data Automation to join our data-driven team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing predictive models, analyzing complex datasets, and delivering actionable insights that drive strategic business decisions across domains such as Finance, Digital Marketing, and Customer Analytics.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and deploy machine learning models for classification, regression, and predictive analytics.
  • Conduct A/B testing, propensity modeling, and advanced statistical analysis to support business decisions.
  • Build and maintain dashboards and visualization reports using Tableau, Power BI, or Quicksight.
  • Automate data extraction and processing using tools like Python, Selenium, and UiPath.
  • Work with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP) and manage large datasets using Athena, BigQuery, or MySQL.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve marketing ROI and customer acquisition strategies.
  • Provide data-driven recommendations to improve business performance and reduce operational costs.
  • Ensure compliance with data governance and security standards.

Required Skills & Competencies:

  • Proven experience (5–10 years) in Data Science, Machine Learning, or Predictive Analytics.
  • Strong knowledge of Python, R, and SQL.
  • Hands-on experience with data visualization tools – Tableau, Power BI, Quicksight, or Excel.
  • Experience in cloud platforms – AWS (S3, EC2, Lambda) and GCP (BigQuery, Cloud Storage).
  • Proficiency in statistical modeling, clustering, NLP, and regression techniques.
  • Experience with automation tools like Selenium and UiPath.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.

Educational Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or related field.
  • Certifications: Python for Data Science (IIT Madras), Six Sigma Yellow Belt (VMEdu Inc), preferred.
