Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Data Scientist to join our dynamic team in Noida. This pivotal role involves leading the design, development, and deployment of advanced data models and analytics solutions. The ideal candidate will extract actionable insights from vast and complex datasets, drive strategic data initiatives, and mentor a team of data scientists and analysts. This hands-on leader will collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and business stakeholders to continuously advance Novel Patterns' AI-driven products and framework.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end data science projects from problem formulation to model deployment and monitoring.
• Develop, validate, and implement predictive models, machine learning algorithms, and statistical analyses tailored to fintech and cross-industry applications.
• Analyze large-scale structured and unstructured datasets to discover trends, anomalies, and actionable insights.

• Create compelling data visualizations and dashboards to communicate findings effectively to technical and non-technical audiences.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate data-driven solutions into business workflows and product offerings.

• Mentor junior data scientists, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation.
• Ensure the quality, accuracy, and robustness of all data-driven solutions and methodologies.
• Stay updated on the latest advancements in AI, machine learning, data science, and fintech domains to drive innovation.
• Participate in infrastructure planning, including data architecture and cloud-based analytics environments.
• Contribute to client engagements, understanding their business needs and tailoring solutions accordingly.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Advanced degree (Master's or PhD) in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or related quantitative field.
• Extensive experience (8+ years) in data science and analytics, preferably with leadership responsibilities.
• Strong proficiency in statistical analysis, machine learning algorithms, and AI techniques.
• Hands-on exposure for creating base models
• Familiarity with fintech industry challenges, especially in credit risk, fraud detection, or financial modeling, is a significant advantage.
• Excellent analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
• Proven track record of delivering scalable, maintainable AI solutions in production environments.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
