We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Video Editor to join our creative team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assembling recorded footage into a finished project that matches the creative vision and engages our audience. You will collaborate with the content, design, and marketing teams to produce high-quality videos for campaigns, social media, and internal communication.
Key Responsibilities:
- Edit and assemble raw footage into polished video outputs in alignment with creative briefs.
- Work closely with the content and design teams to understand project objectives and creative direction.
- Add appropriate music, dialogues, graphics, and effects to enhance video quality.
- Ensure logical sequencing and smooth transitions.
- Create short-form and long-form content for social media platforms (YouTube, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.).
- Maintain brand consistency across all video projects.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest editing trends, tools, and social media formats.
- Manage multiple projects and deliver within deadlines.
- Ensure all video assets are properly organized and archived.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Media, Film, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- 1–3 years of proven experience as a video editor or similar role.
- Proficiency with editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
- Solid understanding of motion graphics, sound design, and storytelling.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail, creativity, and sense of timing.
