Job Purpose:

To provide technical assistance, troubleshooting, and support to customers or internal users by resolving software, hardware, and network-related issues, ensuring smooth operations and customer satisfaction.


Key Responsibilities:

· Respond to customer queries via phone, email, chat, or ticketing system.

· Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware, software, and network problems.

· Install, configure, and upgrade software applications and systems.

· Guide users through step-by-step solutions for technical issues.

· Escalate unresolved issues to higher-level support or development teams.

· Document technical issues, resolutions, and maintain knowledge base articles.

· Monitor system performance, alerts, and ensure timely resolution.

· Provide remote or onsite support as required.

· Assist in software testing, patch updates, and system maintenance.

· Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through prompt and professional service.


Key Skills & Competencies:

· Strong knowledge of operating systems (Windows, Linux, macOS).

· Understanding of networking concepts (LAN, WAN, DNS, VPN, firewalls).

· Familiarity with CRM, ticketing systems, or helpdesk tools.

· Good problem-solving and analytical skills.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

· Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

· Customer-centric and patient in handling queries.

Qualifications & Experience:

· Bachelor's degree / Diploma in Computer Science, IT, or related field.

· 1–3 years of experience in technical support/helpdesk (fresher roles also available).
