Job Title: Welder

Job Summary:

The Welder is responsible for interpreting blueprints and technical drawings, preparing materials, and performing welding operations in accordance with specifications and safety standards. This role ensures that all welded structures meet quality and dimensional requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and specifications to determine welding requirements.
  • Measure and calculate dimensions of parts and materials to be welded.
  • Inspect materials and structures to ensure compliance with project standards before welding.
  • Perform welding operations according to blueprint specifications, using appropriate welding techniques and equipment.
  • Monitor and control the welding process, adjusting heat and other parameters as necessary to maintain quality.
  • Maintain welding equipment and machinery, ensuring they are in safe and efficient working condition.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and quality assurance standards throughout all welding activities.

Qualifications:

  • Education: ITI Fitter (Mechanical)
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
  • Strong attention to detail and quality.
  • Knowledge of welding techniques, tools, and safety standards.
