Role

We are looking for an Fabrication Technician to work at our workshop in Jalandhar, Punjab on the fabrication, testing, and installation of various pyrolysis systems, material handling systems, agricultural equipment etc.

Responsibilities

• Assembling and testing mechanical systems and components of biomass pyrolysis unit
• Reading and understanding technical drawings and assembly instructions
• Verification of component dimensions and product specifications
• Assisting in the design and implementation of upgrades / modifications
• Equipment testing and QC
• Collaborating with the engineering and manufacturing team to troubleshoot and resolve fabrication and electrical issues
• Supporting clients with repair and maintenance

Qualifications

• Certification in machining and welding desired
• Diploma Degree or Certification would be a plus
• Knowledge of welding, machining, and other fabrication activities is a must
• Proficiency in reading technical drawings
• Min. 3 years of experience working with mechanical systems and testing / commissioning, preferably in a manufacturing facility / workshop
• Excellent hand-eye coordination, attention to detail and good organization skills
• Ability to lift 20-30 kg weights and to stand for extended periods
