Primary Job Title: DevOps Architect

About The Opportunity
We are hiring a hands-on DevOps Architect to lead platform design, infrastructure automation, and operational excellence across containerized microservices and cloud environments. You will define architecture patterns, enable GitOps-driven delivery, and drive observability, security, and cost-optimisation for critical production systems.

Role & Responsibilities

  • 10+ years of experience in architect and implement scalable, secure cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure-as-Code and GitOps principles.
  • Design and operate Kubernetes-based platforms, overseeing cluster lifecycle, upgrades, and multi-environment deployments.
  • Define and deliver CI/CD pipelines, release orchestration, and automated promotion workflows to accelerate safe deployments.
  • Lead observability and incident management: define metrics, logging, tracing, and runbooks to improve SLO/SLI outcomes.
  • Build and standardise automation for provisioning, configuration, secret management, and disaster recovery.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to set platform governance, security controls, cost governance, and engineering best practices.

Skills & Qualifications
Must-Have

  • Proven experience designing enterprise-scale cloud infrastructure and Kubernetes platforms.
  • Expertise with Infrastructure-as-Code and provisioning tools.
  • Strong background in containerization and orchestration.
  • Hands-on experience with public cloud platforms and cloud-native services.
  • Operational experience building CI/CD pipelines and GitOps workflows.
  • Experience implementing observability and monitoring solutions for production systems.

Preferred

  • Experience with secrets management and infrastructure security patterns.
  • Familiarity with Helm and Kubernetes operator patterns.
  • Exposure to multi-cloud architectures and cost optimisation strategies.

  • Willingness to work on-site in India and collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams.
  • Cloud certifications (AWS/Azure/GCP) are a plus.
