We are
currently looking for a
Supplier Quality Specialist
to join their team in Hyderabad, India. This position will focus on supporting the Company's Commercial Airplane (BCA) business organization.

This is a field representative position responsible for supporting suppliers in Hyderabad as Supplier Quality Representative. However, additional travel may be required to support suppliers throughout India and other Asia region. The position will require a highly self-motivated individual, capable of being self-directed with minimal supervision.

Position Responsibilities:

o Support duties and responsibilities assigned by management related to supplier quality profile

o Major responsibility is inspection and assessment of products produced from the BCA Supply base in India

o Assist with audits and assessments of supplier's systems, processes and products and also involve in documenting the audit and assessment results and in RCCA

o Monitor and report supplier quality related performance status for the supply base

o Position requires the implementation of supplier quality management processes including assessment of supplier capability, capacity and management of supplier performance in the technical areas of quality, schedule, performance and work statement compliance

o Maintain quality, stability and flow for multiple programs in a fast paced and challenging environment from the supplier quality side and work cross-functionally with many different job disciplines at supplier/customers

o The position will require a willingness to facilitate and attend extra hours conference calls. Working with global team. Excellent English language skills are essential.

o Candidate must meet the requirements of Company's Visual Standards for Product Acceptance, tested annually

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

o Bachelor's degree in Engineering with 3 to 5 relevant years of experience

o Knowledge and experience in QMS/APQP/GD&T/manufacturing/inspection covering commodities namely Electrical wire assemblies, Electromechanical assemblies, machining, composite and structural assemblies

o Excellent verbal and written communication skills, program management and quality management skills are essential to communicate with all stakeholders including factory customers, supplier management, Engineering and all levels of supplier personnel.

o Success will require the ability to establish good personal relationships and outstanding team building skills in a multi-cultural and diverse environment.

o The position will require a willingness to facilitate and attend conference calls in multiple time zones as part of global team

o Excellent English language skills are essential.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Work experience in Aerospace manufacturing environment like Aircraft wire assemblies, Electromechanical assemblies, machining, composite and Aero structural assemblies with experience in manufacturing/process engineering/Inspection.
  • Related certifications (E.g. IPC610/620, GDT)

:

  • Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (Bachelors) and typically 3 to 5 years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
