Position Overview

As a Software Engineering Intern (AI Development Track), you will work alongside experienced software engineers to design, build, and deploy web-based applications that power Nao Medical's digital ecosystem. You'll gain real-world exposure to full-stack development, AI integration, and cloud deployment practices—while contributing to projects that directly improve patient care.

Primary Responsibilities

• Assist in developing, testing, and maintaining front-end and back-end components of Nao Medical's web applications.
• Contribute to projects built using (frontend) and Python/Flask/FastAPI (backend).
• Participate in integrating AI and automation tools into internal systems.
• Collaborate with senior engineers on code reviews, version control (Git), and feature enhancements.
• Support deployment workflows and containerization using Docker.
• Document technical processes and assist in maintaining project documentation.
• Stay updated on software engineering best practices and emerging AI technologies.

Qualifications

Education:

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.

Technical Skills

• Strong foundation in Python and familiarity with frameworks like Flask or FastAPI.
• Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern front-end frameworks (React or preferred).
• Familiarity with Docker and cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, or Azure) is a plus.
• Experience using Git/GitHub for version control.
• Eagerness to learn, contribute, and adapt to fast-paced project environments.

Schedule Requirements:

• Internship Duration: 3 to 6 months
• Flexible hours with availability to work on Eastern Time (ET) schedule as needed
• Remote / Work-from-home arrangement

Technical Requirements:

• Reliable wired internet connection (100 Mbps minimum).Computer/laptop with Intel Core i5 or Ryzen 5 processor, 8GB RAM minimum, and 128GB free storage.
• Dual-screen setup preferred.
• Webcam (1080p or higher) and microphone for team communication.

Job Type: Internship

Pay: ₹ ₹220.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week

Work Location: Remote
