Senior Power Platform Developer

Job Overview:

The primary responsibility of the Senior Power Platform Developer position is to deliver services and solutions for our Clients Healthcare teams as part of the Power Platform Team using the suite of Microsoft's PowerApps, Power Automate, CDS, Power Virtual Agents, Power BI, SharePoint, Dynamics Flow, Microsoft Teams, custom development, and data integrations on the platform.

Duties & Key Responsibilities:

• Work directly with different teams to support various projects and solutions.
• Responsible for developing PowerApps model and canvas driven apps
• Implement solutions on the Microsoft Power Platform, including Common Data Service (CDS), Power Apps, and Dynamics 365.
• Utilize problem-solving skills to understand client pain points and troubleshoot as challenges arise.
• Understanding of how to implement solutions with multiple data sources.
• Provide architecture, configuration, administration, and functional support to expand capabilities in Microsoft 365.
• Re-write and re-engineer legacy Power platform solutions by leveraging modern features released on Power platform
• Design end-to-end solutions that improve collaboration, productivity, and knowledge sharing.
• Identify areas and processes where Microsoft 365, Office 365, and SharePoint can be better leveraged and facilitate process improvement.
• Responsible for estimating work content and achieving planned timelines.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Multi-task effectively between projects.
• Address and remediate security vulnerability findings in PowerApps.
• Integrate Power BI Reports and dashboards into PowerApps.
• Create documentation for projects including design, asset inventory, diagrams, and presentations as well as documentation of the environment and deployment for our support and future implementations teams.
• Communicate proposed designs and progress on the work to customers, team leads, and team members.
• Support cross-functional project teams consisting of app development, IT operations, and information security.
• Well versed with the new design paradigms of the SharePoint including Hands-On on the Power Platform such as Power BI, Powerapps and Flows (Power Automate), Using the Powerapps studio to design Apps, Integrating the power Automate with SharePoint Lists and Powerapps.
• Worked on the customizing site pages, lists and libraries and web parts such as data view / data form / content query web part/ content search web part using display templates and also have worked on customizing the Modern UI using latest front-end frameworks such as React along with the gulp and yeoman generator, Office Fabric UI.
• Worked Extensively on REST APIs, Graph APIs to develop the applications on SharePoint Online / Framework /Office 365 solutions and is also well versed with Oauth2.0 and OData for the Restful web-services, while integrating them with cloud platform such as Microsoft Azure
• Have good knowledge and understanding of various .net frameworks/ SharePoint development frameworks and is well versed with the Agile-scrum based methodologies for software development life cycle and have sound knowledge of classic SharePoint development methodologies including CSOM (.Net)/JSOM using REST API & SP Web-Services.
• Have worked extensively on building and designing the workflows for the SharePoint sites primarily using Nintex and SharePoint designer and also worked extensively on Migration projects in SharePoint including MOSS 2007 to SP 2010, SP 2010 to SP 2013/ SP online with the help of Content Matrix, Manual migration and using Content DB attach-detach etc.
• Creation and setup of Content Type Hub, Site Collection provisioning, Site Collections Data Limits and Health Report generations for the entire site collections using third party tools and PowerShell.
• All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Education Requirements:

• Must be Graduate or above in Computer Science
• Microsoft Certification in PowerApps will be an added advantage

Knowledge & Work Experience:

• 4-6 years' experience in the role
• Experience customizing SharePoint lists and disparate systems with PowerApps
• Experience developing PowerApps model
• Ability to create business processes and custom connectors with Microsoft Flow.
• A clear understanding of PowerApps formulas and development methods.
• Proficient creating PowerShell scripts.
• Knowledge of PowerApps and Flow licensing plans and features included in different plans.

 Preferred Skills :

• Presentation skills with a high degree of comfort with both large and small audiences.
• Strong business-to-technology translation skills are essential for identifying ways to apply solutions to help clients increase business value and performance.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication.
