Key Responsibilities

  • Process Improvement:Evaluate, analyze, and improve existing manufacturing processes and systems to identify bottlenecks and areas for increased efficiency.
  • New Product Development:Design, develop, and implement new products and production systems, often creating prototypes and working with design teams.
  • Equipment Design & Installation:Design, test, and install new equipment, processes, and systems to support production goals.
  • Quality & Compliance:Develop and implement quality control processes, ensuring products meet specifications, comply with safety regulations, and minimize waste.
  • Cost Optimization:Analyze data to identify cost-saving measures and optimize production efficiency to meet budgetary goals.
  • Collaboration:Work closely with other teams, including design engineers, production managers, technicians, and other engineers, to ensure seamless integration and effective problem-solving.
  • Factory Layout:Develop detailed equipment layouts and facility plans to create efficient production workflows.

Essential Skills

  • Technical Skills:Practical and logical approach to problem-solving, knowledge of engineering principles, and proficiency with relevant software and analytical tools.
  • Analytical Skills:Ability to collect, analyze, and interpret data to identify trends, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement.
